Who we are and what we do

The Record Stock is a platform created by music producer Joe Firth - designed specifically for online creators and video makers to take the hassle out of soundtracking your content. With a very small team, we love being able to bring your ideas to life and leave you stress-free. Being a small business, we are very easy to get a hold of and have the ability to act quickly so please get in touch for anything all. Questions, requests or movie recs - we're here for it!

Step 1

Have a browse through our mood playlists and find the music that fits your project perfectly.

If you can't find exactly what you are looking for, tell us what our catalog is missing and we'll get to work making it for you.

If we have something close, but not quite perfect for your use, that's fine too! Just let us know and we can make an edit just for you.

Step 2

Once you have chosen the tracks you like, simply pay the one-time £25 fee and the music will be emailed straight to you inbox ready for you to download and use in all of your project from here on out.

It's £10 extra for existing track edits, but that's all the pricing you need to know. Prices don't change based on project size and there are no royalties. We like to keep this simple.

At The Record Stock, our mission is to keep music as pain-free as possible. We know what it can be like with contracts, subscriptions and agreements - deliberately confusing. It's not like that here.

We are a small team and very easy to get a hold of - shoot over a message or email if you have any questions. We can't wait to hear from you.

All music created by The Record Stock is 100% owned by us. It's made specifically for use on our platform, with no external collaborators, labels or any other rights holders. Basically, there is no one else who could claim the tracks or cause any issues. We don't use samples we need to clear or cover any existing music.

First of all, congratulations! Enjoy this moment, treat yourself to something nice and then plan how you're going to do it again. Secondly, there is nothing that changes as far as we are concerned, no pricing that increases after 10,000 views for example. You don't need to think about us again (until you next need music). The last thing we want is you having your viral moment and spending it worrying about music rights. You're all good. Take a look at our License Agreement for more detail.

When a user requests an edit to an existing track, it's typically a smaller change that they are looking for - 'love the track, can I have it without the piano' for example. This doesn't warrant us putting the edit on our platform for other users to purchase, so we charge an additional fee. Alternatively, when a user briefs us for a brand new track, we can create the music and then put it on The Record Stock for that user, but also everyone else. So the potential of repeat downloads covers the additional edit fee. If you feel that your edit warrants a new track, or aren't clear - please don't hesitate to reach out to our studio team, they are very nice!

Yes! Much like penguins, here at The Record Stock we ~~mate~~ supply music for life. Once you have downloaded a track, you can use it on as many projects as you like, for as long as your fancy fingers can edit and export them (as long as you are a primary contributor to the project).

Due to the nature of digital downloads, we don't offer refunds or exchanges on our music. All sales are final, so make sure you double check what's in your basket! If you do run into this issue, get in touch and we will do our best to resolve it and offer support - Contact@therecordstock.com

Well to start, the big dogs have been at this for some serious time - we are the new kids on the block. However, we are making the conscious choice to keep our track selection smaller. We want you to find the perfect music as quickly as possible, so you can stay in the zone. To do that, you don't want to be sifting through 100,000s of questionable tracks to find one gem. All of our tracks are commercial quality and ready to go out of the box - the only question is personal preference. If we don't have what you are looking for, then you can just ask for it directly using our Request Form.

You must really love it! No worries, just get in touch with our support team and we will issue a refund for you duplicate purchase.

Right after checkout, you will recieve an email with a download link to deliver your files right to you in a .WAV format. If you didn't recieve this email, ran into any issues with your files or would like the tracks in any other file type, please contact our support team.

Absolutely you can! That's one for our studio team, so get in touch with them and give them as much detail as you can about your track and project. They will ask any questions and get to work from there.

You can simply email our support team and they will issue you a new link!

Yes. All of our music is produced in-house, directly and exlusively for use on The Record Stock. This is to ensure we own 100% of all rights associated with our tracks and can give you absolute peace of mind.

We will be updating The Record Stock with new music frequently - a mix of both user and non-user requests to ensure what we make is actually in demand! You can sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date with new releases and exclusive offers! If you have requested any new music, the studio team will contact you directly when the track is ready!

No, you cannot. As outlined in our License Agreement, it is prohibited to release any music of The Record Stock onto streaming platforms. If you like what we make and wan't something similar for a music release, please get in touch with our studio team and they can talk to you about exclusive beats.
